Not a delivery. Stocks or bonds are not a delivery (are not deliverable) in fulfilment of contracts
entered into on the New York Stock Exchange when they do not meet all requirements of the
exchange. See Rules for delivery.
The rules of the New York Stock Exchange are generally observed in transactions in stocks and
bonds that take place elsewhere than on the exchange. The term not a delivery is also used in
dealings in grain, cotton, coffee, etc. Also see Delivery, A.
