Compound arbitration of exchange. A calculation based on the rates of exchange between
four or more places to determine the difference in the money values of the different countries ; or,
a calculation based on the money values of four or more places to determine the ratio of
exchange between the different places. When only three places are involved in the calculation it is
called simple arbitration of exchange.
