Account and risk - The blank forms provided by brokers tobe filled in by speculators in stocks,
grain, cotton, etc., usually bear the inscription "Buy (or sell) for my account and risk," which means
that when an order is given to the broker it is to be executed for the account and risk of the
customer (the speculator) and that the broker is merely acting as an agent in the matter.
